How Ev Charging Station Work

The overall
Dc Charging Station system consists of four components: a concentrator, a battery management system (BMS), and a charging management service platform.
The control circuitry of the Dc
charging station (plug) is primarily implemented by an embedded ARM processor. Users can use a credit card to authenticate, check balances, and inquire about charges. A voice interface is also provided for voice interaction.
Users can select four charging modes based on the LCD display: timed charging, charging by power consumption, automatic overflow charging, and charging by mileage.
The Dc Charging Station charger controller and concentrator communicate via the CAN bus, while the concentrator and server platform communicate via wired Internet or wireless GPRS. For security reasons, power consumption and payment data are encrypted.
The main functions of the battery management system (BMS) are to monitor the battery's operating status (battery voltage, current, and temperature), predict the battery capacity (SOC) and the corresponding remaining range of the power battery, and manage the battery to prevent over-discharge, overcharging, overheating, and severe voltage imbalances between individual cells, thereby maximizing the battery's storage capacity and cycle life. The charging service management platform has three main functions: charging management, charging operations, and comprehensive query. Charging management centrally manages basic system data, such as Dc Charging Station information, battery information, user card information, and Dc Charging Station (plug) information. Charging operations primarily handle user charging billing. Comprehensive query provides comprehensive analysis and query of management and operations data.
